after u get to boot camp in the navy how long is it b4 u can write and call people

calls must be earned, and if one person in your ship screws up everybody suffers. Sundays you are given free time to do personal stuff.

Well it was a long time ago when I was in boot camp but we could write letters everyday when we had time to ourselfs But like I said that was back in middle 60"s We got to boot camp three days before christmas in 1965 and the rest of the company never got there til after christmas so we wrote letters those days before Christma

it depends on your insturcter when you can call and you have a certain amount of time to write on sundays. :) cont more on getting letters than giving them
