going out of business in 2weeks. We are going on the the 3rd month before commission..Am I entitle to collect some kind of commission for the 3mths,even though we didn't complete the 6mths requirement. Please help.

Yes, they owe you the money. You may have rights before other people they owe money. Ask them what they are planning to do about your money. If they aren't bankrupt they will probably pay you. If they don't and you are an employee not a contractor contact your state labor dept.

Likely, yes - but you'll have to get in line with all the other debtors, and hope you get paid.

You're probably going to end up holding the bag on this, at least somewhat.

So call a local attorney. He or she will probably see an opportunity to help several people at once...all the sales employees.

well, if its commission.......then they owe you money.....If you sell something in the first 3 months...and nothing in the last 3...they still owe you whats owed..you get me? they owe you nothing in the last 3 months.....but they owed you something in the first 3.....So, whatever your commission rate ...multiplied by your sales is what they owe you....no questions asked.....and you are entitled to it...But, the business structure tells you when you are entitled to it...Like if they have stocks...then stock holders come after you...etc etc....

Creditors get priority over employees. You may or may not still get your commission

from what i know, they dont have to pay you jack. the best you can hope is that they offer you something
