I liked them, especially the one labeled "pole". I LOVE that you are not afraid of negative space.

I am not a photographer, so I cannot judge the photos on their technical merits. But as for their artistic impressions, I think you scored big time.

Judging from what I've seen.....you are a perfectionist and high-strung? Am I right? Takes one to know one!

Don't let anyone ever say your work is "good" or "bad". Anyone who says that is just a bad critic and doesn't know how to look at art. Art (arguably) can't be good or bad. If you would like to know about your technical skills, then I personally think they are very good. They are beautiful images. Then again at the same time there have been many photographers who have made images that look like snapshots and done entire pieces on blurry Polaroids because that added to whatever it was they were trying to say. But if you're making art no one can tell you "how" to do it or what you "should" do--even technically. That is all up to you. If anything they should tell you what they take away from your work...and if that is not your desired intent then you can think about how to better portray what it is you are trying to say. Good photography isn't done just through "pretty" images! (unless all you are going for is solely aesthetics!)

Some pretty good stuff there. Falls pics were nice. The B&W Polaroid of your mom was great -- very "vintage" with that equipment but yet still nicely composed with a great emotion.

Go to the forums on Steves Digicams... http://www.stevesdigicams.com,
In the forums, there are "post your pics here" threads, where you can post these same pics and have people comment on them. It's a great community because there are some amateurs there, some professionals, and some in between. You'll get lots of very specific, constructive comments on a shot-by-shot basis. I know when I frequented those boards, I learned a lot.

Good luck - and keep shooting!

Some good, some poor, some indifferent. Some looked artistic, some like a teen's snapshots. Some focus problems. Too many images to individually critique. Some of your horizons on landscapes were crooked. My favorite shot was the brightly colored colanders in the kitchen store. That was fun, good color, and a nice composition. I also liked one of the gate pictures, and the spiderweb on the doorknob. The kayak was good, but would have been better with room in front rather than being centered, but it was a good job to capture something moving that fast.

Keep learning and shooting.

Is your first picture sideways? It sure looks it. It would look better if you had less of the plain wall on one side and more of the interesting stuff on the other side. And show it upright.

Your husky pictures appeared dark. Lighten them up a little.

Interesting texture shots.

Study photography. Take a class, or read some books. There's always room for improvement, but you do have a nice start.

I only looked at the first page.

I like the one of the clocks. You tend to shoot too much in Landscape when the subject should be in Portrait. This is especially true when you have strong vertical elements such as a doorway. It seemed as though several of the ones I did view were dark and/or slightly out of focus.

When asking for critiques, its usually best to limit your choices to no more than ten images. It simply requires too much time to view more than ten plus after a dozen or so they all tend to blur together.

Continue to shoot and work on exposure and focus and matching the orientation to the subject.

I love some of them (especially pans 2)
sometimes you obscure buildings...they look like they are not flat walls, but bulging...which is a common problem
Also, like mentioned before, sometimes your focus is not on anything at all.
But overall these are REALLY GREAT photos. with a little editing in photoshop these could be in a nice ametuer show. (editing on reflection, contrast, brightness, etc. Pans 2 would be an even better photo if i couldnt see the shape of the florescent lights...etc)
Keep at it, learn from critiques, and take even more photos!!
