No, but that's a very pretty metaphor. Did you think that up yourself?
The fact of evolution has mountains of evidence to back it up. There is NO debate about whether or not evolution is a fact within the scientific community. The ONLY people left in the "civilized" world that try to argue against evolution is a group of fundamentalist Christians living in the United States. There is NO evidence that has been found that points in any direction OTHER than evolution. None. If there was even one single piece of evidence to show that the theory of evolution was false, the theory would have been tossed a long time ago. There is NO evidence whatsoever to show for a "God".
The only ideas that are falling to the ground are the outdated ridiculous superstitions that were written over 2000 years ago by uneducated middle-eastern sheep herders, and the claims of the willfully ignorant people left in the world today who actually *believe* that the uneducated sheep herder's opinions about how the world and life came to be is more valid than modern scientists.
And the fact that the few people left who are desperately clinging to this idea keep trying to claim that the evolutionary theory is failing or falling apart (when in fact it is actually growing stronger every day) just adds to the proof that those people are completely delusional and in denial of reality. Got to give them credit for their determination, though.

Very funny! Want to hear another?
Is creationism like someone trying to build a foundation ten feet off the ground?
the more you try building on it the more it falls to the ground
SEE?! SEE?! I can make stupid jokes that don't even have anything resembling supporting evidence, too!

Evolution is the best and the most scientific (but not the perfect) theory to explain how beings have been created on earth - from the porridge of amino-acids, atoms, molecules, elements etc which were present as this planet, at the beginning of creation/big bang.
Dating of fossils disproves the story of the creation being done in six days followed by rest.
It is true that it is very tiring for one to work 24/7and so obviously needed the rest.

No, what your thinking of is a building! Duh!
Edit: Creationism is like building a building ten foot off the ground, with no support holding it up!

Evolution is an observed, replicated, verified, established empirical and scientific fact. There is an abundance of evidence from multiple sources that apply consistently and predictably worldwide. There is no contradictory evidence – every argument raised against it has been demonstrably shown to be wrong or deliberate deception and intentionally dishonest.
More than just fact, the theory of evolution is the most powerful general explanatory model in all of science. Without it, every life science collapses and all biological knowledge is false.
This includes medical science which, if evolution were false, would be no more than voodoo and the mystical mumbo-jumbo practiced by Witch Doctors. Creationists, as well as everyone, who submits to the care of a modern physician is placing their health and lives in the hands of Practitioners of Evolutionary Theory.

No Creationism is. It rarely touches reality. Evolution starts from the ground up, literally.

No, evolution is more like science than building construction. Construction is for Creationism.

And how has the theory of evolution fallen to the ground. Is it because it doesn't agree with what you believe in so you automatically say it's wrong.
