Hearing bad language is not explicitly a sin; no more than being robbed or murdered is a sin (it is the one doing the action against others, who sins). And in these decadent times, it is pretty much impossible to not hear foul language rather often. However, since God's Word does warn about the company we keep, and steering clear of filthy language, you should probably question your motive for this movie -- it may not be a wholesome Christian to watch in the first place.

Well, I'm quite liberal on this stance. I don't believe that cussing is bad. And I don't think gd is bad. So, for me, it doesn't matter. Language is a culture thing. It changes from country to country. As long as you're on fire for Christ and genuine, then I don't care if you cuss in your sermons ...just preach the freakin Word of God.

Sometimes we can't help hearing things, or seeing things, etc. But if we are allowing ourselves to hear it then I do think it is a sin.
Matthew 5:29 "If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell."
It's the same principle, whether its your eye or your ear. We have to be careful what we expose ourselves to. If we let ourselves listen to those kinds of things too often, it's very easy fo fall into saying those things, without even realizing it.

If it were sinful, we'd all be in trouble. Unfortunately, we cannot control those around us, or what is on the TV, in the movies, in music. We can try to avoid being around people or places where bad language is spoken. And, we can train ourselves to not repeat the words we hear.
If you are still confused, you need to discuss this with your religious leader.

If you know a movie will have bad language, it is a sin, but it's a minor one.

No your not Sinning, but Jesus Said to be Careful What you Listen to (hear!).
Our Minds work like this:
Junk in---Junk out
Good Stuff In---Good Stuff Out
After I got Saved, I got Tired of listening to junk like that.
It ain't true AnyWay!
GOD is the Redeemer not the dammer (satan tries to keep people damned)
damn means to be Dissconnected from GOD "Spiritually".

Seeing as the word god is merely a euphenism and you're using Gd as a euphenism for a euphenism, your logic would dictate you're going to hell.

How could that be a sin? If you are not the one doing the sinning?

As an Atheist, I don't believe in the sin of it. I just think it is a vocabulary handicap and it is stupid to use it.
