Question about MGS 4, it was answered long ago, but the freaking rumor keeps going on.?

Question

So is this game coming out on xbox 360 or not? I know Hideo Kojima and Ryan flat out said no it's going to be a playstation exclusive since ps3 gives us the theater experience when 360 is just a dvd experience, but a Konami rep said, "We're not planning to bring this game to any other system at this time" Hence the 3 words- at this time. Well what's your opinion? I doubt it'll ever freaking happen.

Metal Gear Solid 4 will NEVER be on the Xbox 360. Metal Gear Solid 4 is a PS3 exclusive. Metal Gear Solid has always been on the PS3, and it will stay that way. The 360 couldn't even handle all the technology going into this game and probably couldn't even run the game on the console without it crashing. For this game, the 360 probably would have to have like 3 or 4 discs with the game because the Xbox still uses that inferior DVD disc.

If Metal Gear Solid 4 were ever to come to the 360, that would be like Halo 3 coming to the PS3 and I think that neither one will ever happen. And even if 360 owners got Metal Gear Solid 4, they would even know the story anyways, and you can't understand Metal Gear Solid 4 without playing the previous Metal Gear games.

OK, actually, I don’t really think that it’s completely true that 360 would crash all the time. The tech and speed between the 2 systems is comparable and I think it would be able to handle it…He is right about the size of the game though…it might be huge, where the blueray is an advantage.
Plus the true measure of a great game is being able to bring in new players into a new story without them having to play the previous games, and although I loved all the MGS on PS2, I think that if you can’t play 4 without having played the other, then it’s not as great a game as the others were…
That being said, according to gamepro.com, Hideo Kojima, the games creator, said that the MGS franchise is a playstation exclusive, and MGS 4 will only be on PS3. Although Kojima’s company is working on 360 titles right now.
