I don't really believe either ...and the inspired came about long after they forged their own idea of what they wanted people to think was real if one over looks these insignificant points and just takes it for what it's worth in the light of commone sense they might profit spiritually . if you can't be kind or serve good then it's probably not worth the effort or even against what you should want . what's in your heart?

2 Tim 3:14 - 4:4:
"You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned; and that ...you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be complete and proficient, thoroughly equipped for every good work. I charge (you) in the presence of God and of Jesus Christ, ... preach the Word! Be ready in season (and) out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all great patience and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths."
I am a confirmed Catholic and a confirmed Lutheran, and a charter member of an Assembly of God church, and went to 2 years of Bible school at a non denominational church. I don't know of any christian who has done any Bible study who believes God literaly wrote the Bible. Why else are the books in the Bible called:
The Gospel according to Luke
Paul's Epistle to the Romans
The Revelation of John

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
"knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:20-21)
"...our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles... which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. " (2 Peter 3:15)
"For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe." (1 Thes. 2:13)
There are thousands of places where the Bible claims to be the Word of God!

2 Peter 1:20-21:
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Try II Timothy 3 "all scripture is GOD breathed...."
....which we believe includes ALL scripture to later be canonized by the Catholic Church into the books of the HOLY BIBLE, even II Timothy 3.
Not hard to do really....considering the AUTHOR!

We know that the Holy Bible (which includes the deuters) is the inspired Word of God because:
1..Jesus said:
"He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church [n.b. one singular church], and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth.shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose.on earth shall be loosed in heaven." ......... (Cf. Matthew 16:15-19)
Note: In the passage above, Jesus changed Simon Bar-Jona's name to 'Peter'. The word "peter" means "rock". He gave charge (i.e. the keys) of His Church on Earth to Peter. The Bishop of Rome has always been the Pope, who is also the head of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope St. Peter was the first Bishop of Rome, and his tomb lies beneath the altar in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Italy.
To the Apostles (the first Roman Catholic Bishops) he said: "He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me." (Cf. Luke 10:16).
2. Thus Jesus speaks through His Church on Earth. In the decree of Damasus, Pope St. Damasus I defined which books were canonical. See:
http://home.inreach.com/bstanley/canon.htm
Thus we have Jesus Christ, true God and true man, establishing His Church on Earth; transferring His authority to the Pope in the giving of the keys; and promising to the Apostles, the first Catholic Bishops, that He who hears you hears Me.
3. In Holy Scripture we see further affirmation in:
1Ti 3:15 if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. (n.b. he did not say that the Bible was the pillar and buylwark of the truth.....but the Church who wrote the Bible.)
4. It has been re-affirmed a number of times since the Decree of Damasus in the fourth century. An example is:
