Here is to tell the one person who found a cell phone in the city of detroit decided to keep it and then had the gall to call people on the phone listed and say hi aunt so in so this is your son. the phone that had been lost was a dead son that had died. this individual did this to several of my relatives. ITs very sad when one loses a cell phone now we have to put up with someones stupid behavior. they called a cousin aunt and sister. these people had just lost this kid (40) a few days after the phone was missing. why can't you turn in the phone why do you have to do things like this or steal? do you realize that sometimes those phones are for reasns not pleasure. they are to let family members know someone is ok or thee whereabouts for reasons unknown to you. its just a thought yes they do get good money for the good ones but its sad that alot of people will keep them and do things like this my say is over.

Sorry for your lost. I dropped my $150 cell phone in the middle of a crossing and did not realize it. The person who picked it up called my house because I had a "house" number listed. I called her back. She asked for my work address and she went out of her way to bring the phone to me. I gave her $20 because I was so happy to have it back. It took a lot of convincing for her to take the money and after I just pushed it in her hands then she said "thank" you. So, not everyone is dishonest.

i dropped my phone once... and my contacts had
"my cingular" "my nextel" "home" office" in the phone book.. but this person did not call any of those numbers...

I tried calling from "my nextel" and she did not answer, but after I called 4 or 5 times in a row, she called me back, she seemed nice enough to meet me to give me back my phone.. but demanded a reward... i had $2 in my pocket, first im broke out here tring to make some $ i cant give you a reward... and when she returned the phone, all the incomming and outgoing call logs were erased... the bill was not under my name, so i never did get to see what she was using the phone for all day...

your problem seems to be that someone who took the phone may have known someone in your family, and had an issue with them... regardless of the history behind whoever has/took the phone, and any of the members of your family that is cruel to do to someone... I would report the phone "stolen" to the police, and advise them of the harassing calls before calling the cell company to terminate the account incase the police want the phone active to attempt to track this person...
