Keeps coming on for the antifreeze/water level. I was told it was a sensor problem, but there is a leak under the car. It is getting worse because I have to fill it every week now. I am afraid the car will overheat. Is this going to be expensive to fix? My thought is hell yes. Oh yeah, the car DOES suck. No wonder they stopped making them.

First things first. When you say "it leaks," how much? A little? A lot?
If you have antifreeze in your car and it leaks, what color is it? (This isn't to make you feel dumb. If your air conditioning is running, it drips clear water. If it's antifreeze, it's either green or orange.)

If you're having to fill it weekly, it sounds like you have a leak. Yes, your car could overheat, but depending on what's leaking, (could be a hose, which is not too expensive to fix, and pretty easy too.) it might not be too bad.

If you're not mechanically inclined, I'd take it to a mechanic you trust. If you are, just look underneath and see if you can find a leak. Check your hoses and hose clamps first. If it's making some unusual noises when it runs, it could be a water pump. There's a hole in the front (called a weep hole) that will be dripping water if the pump is going bad. If that is the source, you need a water pump.

If you see no leaks, but you're still losing a lot of water, it could be a heater core (inside your car will smell like antifreeze, your floorboard might be wet, and it will look like your defroster will be shooting steam).

So, as you see, there could be a few different problems.

Could be real cheap. Might just be a hose that is leaking.

Yeah, the car sucks no doubt.
