So here's the deal: A while ago, at about 11:00 at night, my friend Chris called me freaking out because someone was IMing him from his girlfriends cell phone pretending to be her, but in the meantime she was really on her house phone talking with someone else(we tried calling her real cell, and it said it was out of order and she tells her password to no one). We talked to this person for a while, and it claimed to be Cale, a good friend who had died from being murdered by poison three days earlier. I talked to this person as well, and here's where you come in:

Do you think it's possible for a ghost to talk on AIM to people and making it appear as if they're texting with a phone?

I checked with my friend(the gf), and she said her phone, at the time, was completely broken. The aim's were coming from her exact number, but it wasn't working. She was, at the time, on the phone with two other people(three-way calling), AND, to top it all off, she had changed her password a few days before, so anyone who knew it before wouldn't have been able to hack into her aim OR cell phone. -.-'

Whoa! I think I'd feel a little freaky, too. Did the gf know where her cell phone was? You are sure she was on the phone with someone? Personally I think it was a bad prank. Can't a person text from your computer and maybe put in the cell phone# ? After you check phone record, and her cell phone info for msg. and you can't find a solution, then I'd be a little scared. I believe there are earth spirits for each of us, just as there are guardian angels. When we die, the earth-bound spirit is still here and retains our whole life, thus when psychics contact the dead, like John Edwards, they are actually contacting that spirit. I'll get a lot of flack over this, but I believe these earth bound spirits are of the devil, just as the guardian angels are of God. Let us know what you find out?

No. It's someone who has hacked onto AIM from a computer and is making the IP look like it's coming from the phone.

In a completely unrelated topic, "Pulse" was just TV a few hours ago...hmm....

Sounds Ghostly. The spirits/ghosts I've encountered are mischievous but it is not that difficult to hack into a person's phone.

EDIT: If your friend, the one who's supposedly calling you, was murdered perhaps you should contact the police;)

Practical joker found his cell phone and started calling people.

No ghosts.

It's technically possible, but some pretty extensive occult records show no such recorded event. I'd have to say that it sounds like your "ghost" was a prankster.

To be dead is to be with the Father. I don't believe in ghosts. I could not tell you who was texting either.
