if He is then why did Jesus pray to "God?"

I know, ur going to say its becuz He's the father, but then that would confirm that the trinity is not true, right?

So God is one, not three forms...?

Peace.

THE BIBLE PHRASES GOD AND CHRIST AS SEPERATE PERSONS.

1 Cor. 11:3 says, " But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and GOD IS THE HEAD OF CHRIST." (NASB)

(God and Christ (in heaven) are phrased as two DIFFERENT persons in this text. Not only that, but God has headship over Christ. The word "GOD" (NOT THE 'FATHER') is used showing a seperateness between God and Christ.)

In John 17:1-3, Jesus said:

"Father....This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."( NASB)

(Jesus called his Father, "the only true God". Why would Jesus call only the Father that if Jesus WAS God? Jesus refers to God as a seperate person from himself.)

We know that the man created by God to be in God's image and likeness (Adam), the son of God (Luke 3:38), was a SINGLE person. He could have easily been created as three separate persons. He could have been created with three faces. But God expressly made him (in his image) with one body, one head, one face, one mind, one personality: one person.

Because the Trinity concept is nowhere near clearly defined in the Bible, Trinitarians have to resort to using a bunch of scriptures that are claimed to be 'proof' of the Trinity. But closer examination will show that they are merely misinterpreted:

The trinity has been defined from the beginning (of the concept of a trinity) as "THREE persons who are all equally the one God."

The word "trinity" does not have to be in scripture for this knowledge of God to be true, but the word "THREE" should certainly be there somewhere when speaking of God! (1 John 5:7 as found in the KJV has been proven to be spurious)

But neither an explanation of a three-in-one God nor a statement anything like "God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit," nor even a mention of the word "three" when speaking of God can be found in scripture!!

And yet, "this is ETERNAL LIFE, that they might KNOW THEE the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." - John 17:3 (Cf. 2 Thess, 1:7-9).

How could such essential knowledge (if true) be ignored in scripture?

You probably have three parts too. Body, soul and spirit. The trinity is simply talking about the three aspect of God's personality that have been recorded in the written word. Jesus was God begotten son. The Holy Spirit is the mind of Christ and the creative aspect of God. Jesus did not have the mind of Christ until the time that John the baptizer met him at the river and the fire and spirit fell on him. That was when the ministry of Jesus began. He then was fully God. Before that He was perfect and never sinned, but had the mind of man. He was created by Christ to be the perfect sacrifice for all mans sin. So in essence Christ created Jesus in the womb of Mary so He could come and fullfill the great commission. It was a plan. God the Father is the man that Has all of the other aspect in His character. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We are all spirits made in the image of God's Holy Spirit. How we doing so far? It really is quite easy to discern if the Holy Spirit is inside of you too. You cannot discern God with the natural mind. You must have the mind that was in Jesus after his baptism. Part of the commission that God brougt down to Earth was for the purpose of restoring us to our rightful mind. First you must accept Jesus and understand that you must renew your mind.

If you are going to quote scripture, use it all, not just that which validates your misinterpretation of trinitarianism.

1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

John 10:30 I and my Father are one.

John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

No, not in the sense you refer to. Unity consciousness is achieved in Jesus' approach through a three-in-one psychological state. Father/Son/Holy Spirit are symbols. Dismantling the learned ego identity leaves the "son," (the authentic Self), the holy spirit (pure love) is remembering what one innately loves which leads to purpose for being, and god the father is correcting the psychologically impaired relationship to reality caused by your actual father figure. Another way of describing the three parts that must be unified is by using the words knowledge/love/will - a unified state of consciousness is one that reality synchronizes with.

Jesus spoke in parables because there is no way for the worldly to understand anything SPIRITUAL. Fools loved to be fooled and we know there's nothing like getting a new tune-up for $600.00. Some PhDuhs think their "words" are "little gods".

Jesus said:

"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63.

God is never separated into separate Beings.

1Jo 5:7,8 KJV - For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

The Spirit is GOD'S Spirit who knows God in the same way as humans because we are made in HIS image.

Which things also WE speak, not in the words [LOGOS] which mans wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians. 2:13 KJV.

The Holy Spirit or "another Comforter" is NAMED Jesus Christ the Righteous. The Spirit of God is the MIND of Christ:

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV.

If one thinks of the Son as a product of "generation" then He is NOT eternal and they may be ANTI-christ.

These Three are One and NONE of them are "PEOPLE". If one begins to think of their WORDS as "little people" I would surely get help.

Let's use an egg as an illustration of this. There are 3 parts to an egg - the shell, the white, and the yolk. As there are 3 entities to an egg, there are 3 entities to the Godhead - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost - one entity cannot exist without the other. The Bible tells us that God is a Spirit and all those who worship Him must worship him in Spirit & truth. Jesus was absolutely praying to His spiritual Father, as we all can do now thanks to Jesus' death and resurrection. God bless you!!

Most "Christians" have been corrupted by the trinity doctrine. Is God 3-in-one? No. At John 17:3, Jesus called his Father the only true God. 1 Cor. 8:6 supports Jesus' words. There, it says: "There is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him." 1 Tim. 2:5 says: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus."

The Bible is clear: The Father is God. There is NO trinity!

Isn't it sad that Muslims know the Bible doesn't teach the trinity, but most so-called Christians think it does?
