...I posted an earlier story about getting a treatment plan of $16,000 with them....well guess what,...I'm paying it as we speak, and they HAVEN'T DONE THE WORK, and they just shut down the office I was going to, and their corporate number leads me to nothing, and the website "contact us" leads me to a dead email as well.

I want to take legal action,...but what should I do?

All the locations in Chicago have closed and I have 10,000 worth of dental work that is not complete, but I still have the bill! My wife called the Naperville police department and talked to the investigations unit - they were very helpful - suggested I go in and fill out a police report. The lady in investigations said I should go in and request a copy of police report # 07-73480 - it would have information I need, but she couldn't give over the phone. She said I can request the police report by filling out a Freedom of Information Act form. I am also going to call the States Attorney office again.

Hope that helps.

You may want to check with your state division of consumer protection. They regulate several professional agencies and sometimes require them to have surety bonds which protect the public by giving the public a means to collect loses in doing business with businesses that go out of business. I hope that helps...make sure you report them on ripoffreport.com or the better business burial so others don't go through the same thing. I'm sorry to hear about this and hope that you get your money back.
