If you have the 3.5L or 5.7L owners manual states to use 89 Octane. However, if you add on a superchips programmer to your 5.7L Hemi and set it on performance level then you must use 91 Octane. Also, if you have a SRT8 with the 6.1L Hemi then you must use 91 Octane.

However, I tried all three 87,89 & 91 Octane on my 05 Magnum RT AWD with the 5.7L and I found little to no difference in performance or fuel mileage on all 3. So, I stuck with 87 Octane as the motor does have a anti-knock sensor to compensate for the lower Octane.

it really depends on the engine, most of those except for the hemi will run and perform, really good on 89 or 91 octane, even the hemi will run good on 91 octane, just buy your gas at a place that sells a lot of gas, this way there constantly getting fresh gas in,this way you wont get no drugs in it,the more gas a station sells the better the gas they will have.good luck with it.

if you own a hemi than plus will work just fine in the car but if you own a v-6 charger and i don't know why you would then regular gas works just great.

it will say in the drivers manual
most cars in the 2000 are tuned to a certain octane. meaning i have a ford focus and its tuened for regular so by putting super in it will not burn correctly which well lead to more carbon on the pistons so try to check the service manual

supreme is always the best. your car runs off the gas. so, why would you get it the cheapest (worst) gas to run off of. if u plan on keepin ur car for a longtime and u want it to not have any problems, then use the best.eventhough its more expensive, the type of gas that u put in ur car is more important than the type of oil. it's what it relies on.

I owned an 05 300c Chrysler recomends 89 octane for the 5.7 and premium for the 6.1 hemi.

Do you have the 3.5L V6 or the 5.7L Hemi. (I have the 3.5L V6 and it says to run 89 octane) Others have said that the V6 will run fine with 87, but I stick with what the manual says.
If you have the hemi, I wouldn't go lower than 89 octane.
Good luck.

Look in the owners' manual and it should tell you. If it specifies regular and your car runs on it without pinging, then that should work just fine.
