I am not sure about that, but it is odd that you mention that because I was wondering the same thing since my husband was diagnosed with cancer and he has alot of white hair!! He's been that way for about 12 yrs now amd he's only 36. Another member of my family has a white "spot" of hair on the back of his head, and I am wondering if it could be potentially a serious thing?? Good question!! (: I know that the color of skin and hair has to do with melanin levels in your body, but I don't know how it would tie in with having cancer, or no cancer?? Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmm......

My daughter is a million/2 caucasian/a million/2 South Indian and that i'm consistently taken aback how slow her hair grows while in comparison with mine or different caucasians. Her hair is curly and could visit her backside while moist. She is 5 and has had in basic terms 2 haircuts. She's my DAH - ling!

White hair is caused by a lack of melanin (a pigment), and the decline of the production of it can be caused by genetics, disease, medication, or poor nutrition. So, you could have a health problem or it could be completely normal. I know someone who started getting white hair in his late teens/early twenties, but he has no health problems.

having white hair is genetic, though stress can trigger it to come on much early stage as it should be and some studies says that lack of zinc can also cause white hair.
