I want to do something to help some people who ask questions to do with tough situations, but I don't know the answer because I don't fully understand it myself. Do you think I should take my best guess, or leave it for someone who probably has a better idea of Christ's word than me?

I'm just talking in general, like a spiritual question where they want an opinion. I'm still not quite sure what all of my belifs are yet, and I'm not sure of Christ's word to do with some situations.

No, I always know the answer.

I am also always right!
(Have I ever lied to you before, that you are aware of?)
I think you might as well give it your best shot. If you really do not know the answer but have an idea about it offer that, or find out the answer for yourself.

Finding answers to questions actually can be interesting and can improve your research skills quite dramatically.

If the question is truly obscure I sometimes star or save it so that I can return to see what the answers were.

If a person does not know the answer. Just because one asked does not always mean they really want to know the answer. But God does not make any mistakes and it is nothing slick to a can of oil. you note the question, look to the word of God for the answer. Why? It is to increase wisdom for yourself. God's word is not a best guess. The holy spirit prompts us to answer the questions even if another does not accept it. What is a better idea of God's word? If you know it praise God. If not, ask God for a better understanding. Wisdom is the kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven within us. You do not have to answer every question that come your way. Some questions are mockery. They should be ignored. even if you knew the answer,is that one gaining anything from it?

You need to let then know that you don't fully understand it yourself. If you claim to know the answer but are wrong it will make it hard for them to believe you.
So, first make it clear you don't have all the answers.
Then, try your best to answer the question with the knowledge you have.
Finally, direct them to someone who can help them better understand, like a pastor, youth leader, or elder.
Good luck and God bless.

Pray for guidance.

Exodus 4:12 :Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."

Anytime a person asks me something, even if I think I know the answer I pray for the right words to say. And even if you are not well versed, you will be surprised what will come out of your mouth if you ask for guidance.

Just leave for someone else to answer. Tell them what you know and understand, but explain that you don't fully get it yourself. Then direct them to someone who might know. Better to make sure that Christ's words aren't misinterpreted! :D <3

Religious questions are never hard to answer. Just say:
1. You have taken it out of context
2. You need to read the whole bible to understand it
3. Oh, that is just an allegory
4. You are just cherry picking the bad things
5. Oh, you have just made up your mind not to accept it.
6. Why, don't you read the previous verse

Yes, you should give your opinion. You don't know the answer to everything and you never will. Probably the person asking isn't wanting to know everything. What you know, however little, may help someone. Possibly it could help someone just reading the question and answer. Don't sell yourself short.

1. Many more individuals are born than can possibly survive, thus there is competition for limited resources

2. Within this vast number there is variation, and because of this variation some of these individuals will have an advantage--however slight--over others

3. The ones who have the advantages are more competitive and thus they are more likely to obtain the limited resources

4. The ones who are succeeding in securing the limited resources are more likely to reproduce and thus pass onto their offspring the more competitive traits

If you tell the person that you can't quote the Bible to them, but that you are speaking as a Christian from your heart there is no harm in offering your opinion. If however, the person is looking for that scripture reference then refer them to someone who can quote chapter and verse

well, i am Jewish and i am 13 years old and have a great Jewish education. But i think that you should fully answer the best you could and also tell them that they should search deep inside them and do the best thing that is right.
Tell them that you don't know and make them feel good that their question is good.
