I'm a Christian. I've never said that Pagans are evil, because I don't believe that. Pagans follow a different religious path than I do. That doesn't exactly qualify as evil in my book. It just means that they happen to have a different opinion than mine, which is okay.

From what I have seen in different religions, all have some negative influences that have affected other people, Yes all. The people of the pagan and wiccan faith are no different when it comes to doing bad things. I do know of some wiccan that support the KKK. There are others who have attacked someone who was thought to be a homosexual. I would find it hard to believe that all pagans are nothing more then the kind and wonderful people who couldn't ever hurt a fly. So, even though each religion wants to be the righteous one, each have had their own short falls from the human perspective.
It is more important to figure out where you stand in your faith. Judging others will not help you in doing this. It comes down to you, you will be your own witness to others.

I agree with Christina h. Many Christians haven't read their Bible closely enough. You aren't supposed to take it literally word for word since most of it is metaphor anyway. You're supposed to find the teachings between the lines and Christians need to realize that their Bibles tell them that only God can judge people. I believe that all gods are the same god, they are just divided into many aspects so that we humans can grasp the concept. The Great Divine is far too complicated to understand with our limited minds, so we each choose different aspects to respect and worship since we can't understand it as a whole. It's like looking at a many faceted gem where each face has a different tint. One person can see it as blue, and another person can see it as green. They are both right, but neither has the whole picture and never will. No religion is wrong or evil in and of itself. There are probably Pagans who do those things too since it has nothing to do with the religion. Even when they do it in the name of their particular religions, it's just an excuse. People with bad inclinations (or even completely good intentions but a misguided point of view) will do what they will with or without the excuse of religion. Christians are no better than Pagans, and Pagans are no better than Christians. Your religion doesn't change your personality.

MMMMMMMmmmmmm yes and no.
We are no more or less evil then any other random person out there. We have our bad apples in there just like others. Dont even get me started on those white trash mother ****** who have the nerve to wear Thor's hammer. Ugh. They are far and few between but they still make me utterly ill.
AMERICA has a problem with pagans and even that is fading. It's a fast growing faith. Islam is the other. Atheisim is probably faster but that's not a religion.
There are those who claim the Gods when they are beating a black person up. Heathen as a whole speak out venomously, but it does happen. The beaty in that is Tyr knows no mercy, only justice. If they are true believers is will keep them up at night.
Christians can get on thier soapboxes and scream from thier street corners, but the public as a whole just isn't buying it anymore. Give them enough rope and they will hang themselves.

Pagans are people. That means some are good and some are not so good, and all manner in between.
No pagans in the KKK, but there ARE pagans in neo-Nazi organization (thankfully rare) but some neo-nazis are Odinists.
You DO hear of a FEW ISOLATED cases of pagan parents doing bad things of one sort or another with their kids - but that is because they are bad people - not becasue they are pagans.
I think the last pagan terrorist would be Julius Ceasar - but since that was pagan on pagan violence, I am not sure it was totally religiously motivated ;) If he, or any of the ancient Druids were alive, we could ask them.
I have never heard of pagans beating homosexuals to death. I imagine SOME pagan may have beat SOME homosexual in a bar fight somewhere along the way.

They think that because they aren't smart enough to think for themselves. They only believe what they've been told. They don't even worry about learning the truth. They would rather just remain ignorant and not think for themselves. Why is it that some christians also don't know that their own religion was into blood sacrifice at one time? Yet they accuse other people of it. Now I know not all christians are this way and I've seen some that really do follow the teachings of Christ, but I believe they are not even close to being the majority.
I think the if you are not of god, then you are of the devil. has got to be one of the most ignorant and narrow minded things I've heard.

Since I am answering so late the only thing I will add is that I feel a lot of christians try to make paganism and judaism evil because they are aware that if you took these religions out of their faith there would be next to nothing left.
If you took all of the pagan and jewish elements out of the christian mythology there would be nothing left.

What kind of Pagans are you talking about? It sounds like you are talking about New Age-rs not true Pagans.
Then again, "Pagan" ("pagan") is a very general term for a religious minority that is not an organized religion though there are a myriad of different organizations that claim to be pagan.
Yes, there are a lot of sparkle-happy pagans out there. They are often (though of course not always) pacifists, vegetarians, and suburbanites. There is, also, a smattering of tree hugging, granola eating, hippie pagans.
Saying that a pagan would not fight for their faith is like saying it is just a game.
Sure few of the things you listed are common on the pagan violence agenda; then again you are "cherry picking" what you call a pagan and what they have done for their belief.

I never thought pagans were evil that was never the original intention. They worship their Creator in different ways but they are not intrinsically evil, however like any large group you will have evil people within it. They can be nasty and hateful towards people of other religious groups, I know a couple of them and avoid them. On the other hand there are cult groups that are not worshiping the Creator of the universe, in fact, just the oppostie, they know who they are...

Some people like to follow blindly, instead of learning where it all came from, and some people don't care to learn. Thats why they're called bigots.
Hey Jessica L, No Wiccan tortures animals. We're even against animal testing. If you are a good student as you proclaim, read up on the subject.
