1.
"... I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days ..." There are many reasons we go as some would think early . The promised life is not on earth as of yet , that wont be till a new earth and heaven .When your called God does the calling at the proper time , and there is only one I know of in the old testament who prayed fervently to live and not go when God called . God let him live for 15 more yrs with 3 daughters and they were the worst yrs of his life .You forgot one other Honor your mother and father, for this will bring about a long life also .

To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord ( 2 Cor. 5:6-9 ). He is with the Lord. Trust me, he as a Christian, got much better by dying. He ain't complaining, and he wouldn't come back here even if it were possible.

Apostle Paul had struggle with one of his last epistles, the Philippians epistle, he desire to be with the LORD which is far more better but he was still on Earth to serve men.

Your Father is now having fellowship with Elohim. He is now joyful and serving an Eternal God. I hope you can see him some day.

Good never promises that our life on this earth will be long, easy or fair. The reason for death, disease and other ills of the human race are the result or symptoms of our original sin. Our broken relationship and bad attitude toward god. Our attitude that we know what is best for ourselves. God only promises eternal life to those who believe and trust in the savior he gave to us. His son jesus christ.

It says we will inherit the Earth, but it also says we have an eternal life in Heaven, Heaven is not Earth, we must be patient and accept death to live happily and wait for the Earth. It says the last enemy who will be defeated is Death himself, most likely granting us eternal life.
