I have been on hold for a very long time. how can i finally get out of this mess. i need to find a civilian job and find a place to live.

i am on hold in the barracks and have been here for quite some time. i hate to complain but i need to find a civilian job and place to live at some point.

the new fiscal year just started. Hopefully that means your Reserve Unit now has money in the budget to send you off to A school.

But there is nothing preventing you from getting a job now. the SSCRA protects you from being fired when fulfilling military obligations. just be up front whenyou are hired.

What reason are you there? Boot camp?, medical issues?, whating for processing for clearance?
