Is this guy a true friend?
we talk mostly every class
when he needs answers or help or to know what homework is he comes to me
He calls me every once in a while
Sometimes leaves me to go sit with and flirt with other girls
Told me im his best friend
makes jokes and makes me laugh sometimes
play fights with me (like physical)
Didnt pick me over the fat kid in Gym
i dont know...... is he using me?

Play it safe, and take your time! You have reasons to feel used. A true friend wouldn't make you feel that way. It appears he's participating in his very own popularity contest. He enjoys pleasing a wide variety of students. But, is he sincere and honest with you? I, somehow, doubt it. I'd move on and flirt with other boys, and watch him carefully. It may be that he's just extremely immature. Either way, he's not demonstrating that he's ready to have any serious relationship. I'm not even totally convinced he'd make a good friend. At best, right now, he's only an acquaintance of yours. I wouldn't read too much into this, until he displays more genuine interest. Right now, it's only marginal.
