This is my personal opinion... I work on laptops daily and I get alot of dvds inopt due to drivers. and video drops after splash screen... and incompatibilties to the highest level of highest. SO TELL ME WHAT U THINK ABOUT THE NEW VISTA... I SAY IT SUX.. XP release was great to me.. BUT SERVICE PACK TWO WAS BAD, BUT NOT EVEN CLOSE TO VISTA TROUBLES.......

I think it is awful! VISTA is junk and is the beginning of Microsofts woes. When my PC died ... AGAIN ... I went out and just got an iMac. Love, true love! It is well worth the money and I am happy I didn't cave in and buy another Windows-based computer.

I have use Vista since it was available and i have no issues as long as you research Vista and have knowledge of the proper Drivers and Software that are compatible, it works great and the main deal with Vista is TURN OFF THE USER ACCOUNT CONTROL.And honestly a computer purchased with Vista installed should not have many issues as long as the user does not install incompatible software and if your going to install Vista on computer that was designed for XP you should be sure it will handle Vista any computer running less than say 1.6ghz , 1gig of ram and a vista compatible video card will be worthless with Vista. PS> I build computers and repair them for a living ,all i can say is get the proper training and research your issues before attempting to bash an operating system and please learn how to type.

when i got my vistah the dvd drivers didnt even WORK! i had to take it back. and it is a bit comfusing to toy with. but in the end i think its better then xp.
