Okay so I'm 16 and I've never had a bf. My brother is bugging me about it saying I can't get a guy, and saying that he has a gf (He's 14). This guy in my math and Modern History class thinks I'm a lezbein. Sure, I'v been asked, but I alway's turn them down, I feel like a complete loser.....

I'm definitely no authority on the subject but I don't think being a lesbian is anywhere near like a club you can join...you either are or you aren't (as I understand it). The boyfriend thing can seem a little problematic to you now (especially since you're being teased about it) but it's not that uncommon for a 16 year old girl to not have a boyfriend. All it means is that you don't have one now, not that you can't get one when the time is right for you. Besides, in many ways they're more trouble than they're worth until they grow up a little more; so consider yourself fortunate....the longer you wait, the better the crop will be. I have a daughter your age and she doesn't have a boyfriend either (I hope). Time's on your side. Now, go catch your brother in some disgustingly compromised position and make his life a living hell. and your brothers age doesnt matter either.
the same happened with me.
im 16 and my cousin is 12, if you care to know.
i turn people down to.
you just want something more special i guess?
and about the lesbian thing,
i tell them im everything.
so now they really think i have sex with my friend everyday.
its quite halarious.

if it's your choice to not have a boyfriend, then you shouldn't feel like a loser. don't let what others say affect you. if you want to wait around for a better guy, it's your decision. younger brothers always tend to tease their older siblings so... take care now! ;)

I am a guy,but don't worry. I was 16 before i had my 1st girlfriend. When the right time comes, it will happen. Don't let them kid you,just tell them straight out your playing it SMART!!

You don't have a boyfriend just to have one. You have a boyfriend you because you have met someone special that you wan to be with. You don't want to regret getting together with someone just to be with someone. Hang in there you will meet the right person.
