Keep a real close eye on him. They can splinter and cause intestinal damage. Surgery may be required. Watch for signs of distress, pain, inability to go potty, fever, lethargy, etc....anything out of the ordinary and call the vet asap.

u don't say if they r pork or beef. Pork is bad because it splinters, there is nothing u can do now, just try not to let it happen in the future. Pork and chicken are very bad for dogs as they splinter. Unless it's a big old ham bone

Dogs aren't meant to eat cooked bones or meat. When did your dog eat them? I would take him to the vet and next time put your cooked bones in a safer place. It might not matter as much because he is a large dog, but still get him checked out.

Are you people serious? Dogs eat bones all the time. Nothing is going to happen. It's perfectly natural for dogs to eat bones or cooked meat. Come on people you really think it is worse for dogs to eat cooked meat than raw meat? Dogs are carnivores, they're animals, they're not humans!

Call your vet.. Cooked bones are dangerous, especially pork and chicken bones. All cooked bones splinter once they are cooked.. He should be aware of what happened and be able to tell you what to watch for.

Make sure that nothing is caught in his throat or mouth. Then feed him some cooked rice with some chicken broth. Don't worry this has happened to my little Australian Terrier, and everything was just fine.

Keep an eye on him. If he starts to act really funny(not his normal self), Emmediently rush him to the local pet hospital.

As long as none are lodged in his throat he should be ok. Dogs have natural enzymes in their stomachs to digest bones.
