I'm not even going to ask how you still believe after that... nothing will make you straight. You're born that way. God didn't make you that way, the inheritance of your mom's sex hormones did.

I am sorry that people have been persecuting you for something that you cannot help. I personally believe that your feelings are real and that you were born different than others who just can't possibly understand. I know that it is said that it is wrong to be homosexual but I will not judge anyone who is. I have friends and family who are gay and I love them as much as I love the ones who aren't. I believe that God does love all of His children and that He will sort it out in the end. It is between you and God, not the choice of those who are judging you. Don't hate yourself. I know that this hurts and confuses you. I don't personally believe that you will go to hell. There are reasons for everything and if God created you and you are having these feelings and thoughts, then He will understand this better than anyone. Continue to pray to your Father in heaven. Believe in His love for His children and stop hating yourself. If God wants you to change, He will show you the way and you will understand it. God bless and watch over you and protect you, too. I am sorry for your pain.

Not all religions preach that you won't go to heaven if your not heterosexual, it sounds like you grew up in the Catholic family.
You may want to look into other religions like the protestant religion. It is based on the same bible but they are not as judgmental as the catholic religion.
The bible is one book that if 10 people read it, they would all get something different from the same passages, it is written in a way that you draw your own conclusions from what is within you.
Don't put yourself down for other peoples beliefs.
Personally, I believe that god does answer prayers, the age of the person asking makes no difference, however that being said he may not answer it in a method that you realize it was answered.
For example you may pray for him to change you into someone that thinks like a heterosexual person, and he may answer your prayers by giving you the strength to live with what you are instead.
God loves everyone, no matter what, even people that don't follow his preaching, and he makes allowances for our mistakes etc.
As long as you are a good person and you don't deliberately set out to harm others, then don't worry about what other people believe, you decide what you want to believe and live your life accordingly.
I hope this helps.

First. How old are you?
I am going to go ahead and respond like you are 15. That is as best as I can guess.
You have a life ahead of you, dont walk into it backwards or you are likely to walk off of a cliff.
If you are still christian. Trust that if God didnt want you to be the way that you are he wouldnt have made you that way.
also if you really dont want to be gay, dont sweat it. You have time. It may just be that you havent found the right girl. Look for a tom boy. ( a girl who is very rugged and outdoorsy)
My advice is essentially not to sweat it. It may be that god didnt answer your prayer becuse he loves you the way you are.

You're youth pastor is wrong. I bet you didn't know that Jesus never spoke against homosexuality...search for it...Jesus, himself, never mentions it while He's on Earth...
Don't hate yourself, I believe that(unlike some others) homosexuality is not a choice. At least not a conscious choice. Listen...in the bible, it talks about laying with "mankind". If you live a chaste life and do not act on your urges it's the exact same as a single straight person...single straight people cannot lust, sodomize, fornicate, etc...
I'm sorry that you've put yourself through this and you're just now learning that Jesus' love comes for all and not only straight people and if you live according to the law of chastity you will surely join our Father in Heaven.

God says there is only one unforgivable sin and that is a sin against the Holy Spirit. You have faith in Christ, you are saved. There is no perfect person only perfect intentions. Sin is sin, and God knows we cannot defeat sin, thats why he sacrificed Jesus, But the most important thing you must do is love God with all your heart, love is most important, every imperfection we have can be fixed, but loving God is something we must do by our own free will, everything else comes. God loves you, don't give up on him....

I find it hard to believe that you were that sexually aware that young. I'm heterosexual but I didn't spend much time thinking about boys that young...I certainly wasn't sexually aware at 5.
But, assuming this is true, God doesn't change people to straight or gay. If you are a homosexual you are called to celibacy. That's just the truth of the matter, some people are called to celibacy...some are heterosexual as well.
Homosexuality is a perversion of the sexuality given to us by God. He made us in his image male and female. Sexual intercourse is meant to participate in the very life and love of God. This is what we embody as male and female. The two shall become one flesh. A homosexual union is not the life giving and sexual love of marriage. It is outside marriage and procreation and therefore God's design.
This does not mean a person who experiences homosexual desires is not loved by God. That person is definitely loved by God, but called (as we all are) to reject sin and follow Christ. No one can justify sin. We are all born in sin but being born that way does not justify the acts...only lets us know we need a savior.

If you are only 11, then you are too young to have sexual thoughts about either boys or girls. I don't even think that you know what that even means.
I do not care what any person told you; you are NOT gay just because you are different. You do not have to have sex with boys just because you like to hang out with the guys and have fun.
Someone lied to you and said that you were gay just because you don't like girls yet? Most boys your age do not. Having a low sex drive is not gay.

I use to be bi-sexual. I accepted Christ as my personal Savior and started having a personal relationship with Him. He changed my mind. I am now a very happily married, straight, woman.
Read your Bible daily and pray. God answers prayer in three ways, "Yes", "No", and "Wait". Believe me, God doesn't want you to be gay. He warns us of it in the His Word.
You have to make choices. With everything you do, there is a choice to be made. That's why He gave us free will.

I won't quote Bible verses that condemn homosexuality... you seem to know God doesn't approve very well and could probably quote many verses yourself!
But recall 1 Corinthians 6:9-11: "What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men... will inherit God’s kingdom... ***And yet that is what some of YOU were***. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God." [stars added by me for emphasis]
That is what some of them **were**. It is a choice. Even if people are genetically inclined toward homosexuality they do NOT have to act on it. Even straight people have to restrain themselves. No one has to give in to their fleshly desires. Even if it means they don't have sex their entire life. Some sacrifices are worth making.
Strive on being a master of the fallen flesh- you are not a slave to your desires. We are more than animals after all, right?
God does not send anyone to a fiery Hell of torture. Hell is merely a sleep-like state of inactivity.

God can do whatever He wants. if he wants to take those thoughts away from you He still can. however we all have problems of different kinds. and sometimes we need more than prayer. sometimes we need counseling. of course if you go to a secular counselor they will tell you nothing is wrong with you. however if you find a Godly counselor, not one who will judge you, but one who will actually work with you. i believe you can find help this way. so i suggest counseling (with a Godly, non judging counselor). i recommend www.akwellspring.com. they do phone counseling and work with you on the cost. they have helped me a lot in my life. check them out if you are serious about getting help.
