I can concentrate, and don't procasinate a lot. The problem is that I can't keep doing things for a long time.

No matter what it is - school paper, writing, reading a book, etc - I can't do it for long periods of time. Also, I tend to get sick of things like bands and tv shows because I listen or watch them too much.
Any advice? I want to be able to love doing something for a long time, and not just get sick of it in a week.

set goals. Let me explain.... the reason you dont stay commited its because you dont see and end to something. Completion is a very important factor to achieve, but how do you know that you completed something if you dont have an end (goal) set? Whatever you you do try to set a goal (reallistic goal) that is. For example, if you have a school paper due on a certain date, break it down into segments (ie research, rough draft, citations.. etc...) and set a schedule to complete each segment in a certain date. That'll help you stay commited. In my own case, I started running a few months ago.... when I first started I couldnt even run a complete lap on the track... I set a goal to be able to run 2 in a week... then the next week 4... and now I can run 10 laps nonstop. next week I'll try running 12.. the thing is to keep on challenging yourself and each time you complete the challenge you get a feeling of completion. Let me tell you its a great feeling..... and it also motivates you to improve yourself..... so my advice, set goals, create a schedule and complete stuff. Each goal you complete will help you stay motivated to complete the next. Hope that helps good luck!
