XP PRO supports which XP Home doesn't have:
2 CPUs
Networking & joining a Windows Domain
Security
File encryption
File compression

XP Pro can be a member of a Windows Server domain, Home cannot.
XP Pro has management features that can be used by network administrators to manage a cadre of workstations; Home has only a partial subset.Pro has backup installed by default, Home it has to be installed manually. Same with Remote Desktop Client.

That's really about it. That you are a businessman doesn't mean squat; it offers very little to the user. IN terms of functionality of memory managment, hard drive management, application performance and the whole user experience thing, they are identical.

the real answer is Networking Security, and speed.. after that nothing,,, but why bother... come January 2007 MS is stopping supporting windows XP.. and it will be open to all the hackers world wide... and Vista is still not secure

Look at Linux if you want the best operating and most secure operating system.. and all the free software you will ever need for your business

You will have no software licenses to pay for and if you want support then that will not cost you the earth, it is very reasonable priced. and being your a business you will need annual licenses from MS... If your running MS Software

look at the web site links below.....
