In the red letter edition of the Bible, in the NT Jesus' words are highlighted red. Why arent gods words in the OT also red? Was Jesus more important than god?

This is another example of Christians distancing themselves from the Old Testament. In a hundred years, they'll claim that only the New Testament applies to Christianity.

Nancy B. As an Atheist, I find it a little silly that I have to remind you that God appeared before Moses to give him the 10 Commandments. Once again, Atheists know the bible better than Christians.

I think it states on some, or most that I know of, that JESUS' words are in red. But the whole putting Jesus' words in red was just something that made that edition of the Bible unique.

And no, Jesus and God are one in the same.

God did not physically communicate with man in the old testament. Jesus was very involved with people and was quoted in the NT the words in red are the words spoken by Christ to men. Jesus is God so He cannot be more important than Himself. God is three in one: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All wholly and equally God, yet separate from each other.

There are 3 beings in 1 God: The Father (God), the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit (Psalms/Miracles). God chose the Virgin Mary to be the mother of his Son because humans had to "see it to believe it". So he created his son as a human being to prove his existence. He died on the Cross (Good Friday) and He rose from the Dead (Easter Sunday), then he Ascended into Heaven body and soul (The Ascension of the Lord). What more proof do you want?

Because Jesus is God and is the major factor in the New Covenant. Jesus was given to us as a way out of sin. He connects us to the Father.

Jesus IS God! Maybe because Jesus is also called the "WORD"
idk, Maybe no one ever thought of putting God's words in red until the New Testament was written? Good question, though. I never really thought of it.

That was a decision made by the publisher. The bible says that "all" scripture is inspired by God.

The obvious answer that you're going to get from this question is "Jesus is God! DUHHHH!" This response I will not give you. Instead I will say that these words are highlighted red because red is associated with the devil, which is clearly who Jesus really was.
Jesus Christ is Satan.
