First and foremost, you must understand that personality is a superficial trait, just like looks. There are a lot of people who have great personalities. Having a really good personality just means being charming and fun to hang with. A lot of rotten pricks have great personalities. For example, Hitler had a great personality and killed 6 million jews. People loved OJ Simpson for his personality until he killed his wife and Ron Goldman.
I think you are confusing character with personality. Having good character means you are loyal, honest, trustworthy, compassionate and an all around good human being. It has nothing to do with looks or personality and you can't tell a person's character until you know them for a long time.
Now to answer you question, all guys are biological hard-wired to notice looks first and foremost, when they first meet a girl (and there's nothing wrong with that). Then, if they think they want to spend anytime with a girl, they will start to consider personality. Then finally, a smart guy of quality will make character the number one factor when considering a long term committed realtionship with a girl.

Guys are naturaly set to look for attractiveness, where as girls look for social skills and personality, (good looks are a plus). But that doesn't mean all is lost if you'r not so good looking, to catch the attention of most guys you need to be vibrant and energetic, not so thier wierded out by you but so that they think your funny and entertaining, that's cute enouph for even the shallowest guys. It's not that guys are all shallow it's that we just don't notice you if you don't have that extra spark.

I must admit I'm extremely lucky as my young lady has personality and fantastic looks, that is why along with the love that I have for my fiancee we are planning our wedding.

Look, most guys will look at girls and look at looks first. ifthey like the looks then they might go talk to her and find out if they like here personality. but if she has no personality, then their realtionship will only be physical. So it is a yes and no. i perfer to observe how women interact with others to get a read on their personality then i make a move. can you answer my question though, cause i need a girls perspective

if it's just a O.N.S or B.C it doesn't matter but if they are looking for someone to go long term with neither matter either
because you can fall for someone with a big great heart and love you to death and not be sexy to some but it all that you need for you to be sexy to them.
personality is something everyone has but no all matches up with others and looks well that can falter to to 10 guys she could be a 10 but just because she has a tattoo or a something small like that others wouldn't think twice about it.
but i think it depends on the guy, girl, time and place.

one guy i had a conversation about this said why have girl who has a great personality but is ugly when u can have the same thing with someone who's not,well i thought he was quite shallow and personality comes first and foremost for me!

I have been known to get overwhelmed by personality to the point of thinking a girl is stunning!!
It is really weird. The punching above her weight line cropped up quite alot along with heffer, but I really didnt see that!!
She was the best laugh and times ive had its got to be said.
Although now all I see is a whole lot of heffer.
