its not her fault, my aunt has alergies so she hasn't really pet her much, and it came from her daughter so noone else wants her.

Your vet can suggest products to get the fleas from the cat and the house. Odds are your house has fleas too by now.

Dress to protect yourself, hiking boots, jeans with sweat pants on top, heavy shirts, and leather gloves. You won't have enough grip with oven mitts.

Get the cat and the anti-flea spray. Find an open space in a room.

The best way I have found to control a cat and work on it is this:

With the cat in your arms, sit on the floor and cross your ankles. This leaves a square opening between your legs.

Put the cat between your legs. Now by closing your legs you will have complete control over the cat. You will be in full control and have very fine control of how tightly you are holding the cat.

The cat may struggle or fight, but with the cat secure in your legs and you well-dressed, the cat will not be able to get away. Just lean back and let the cat struggle to get away. When its tired, say "Good cat" pet it and give the cat the flea spray.

Let the cat fight itself tired.

Your hands are free. Dose the cat with the spray, follow the directions.

Wrap the cat in a towel, you will need 2 ppl to do this. Than gently pin the cat down between your legs almost sitting on it holding the towel tightly. Than you should be able to put on the advantage, it only takes 20 sec to do. If your mom won't buy any addition advantage for the cat, get your aunt too, I'm sure she doesn't wan the fleas.

Get a Capstar pill and put it in some yummy food like tuna for her so she eats it all. It'll kill all the fleas on her, but it won't stop reinfestation - you'll have to have a word with your aunt when she gets back about that.

A tablet doesn't cost much, you could buy it out of your allowance if your mom is that heartless!

EDIT: Just re: mike c's answer, never use ANY product from a pet store, they don't work and some are dangerous. You yourself probably know that as you use Advantage :-)

If your Mom agreed to watch the cat for 2 weeks, you will need to spend money. Either now to get something to get rid of the fleas, or later to fumigate your home as your whole home, especially if you have carpeting, will soon become infested with fleas, as may your own cat even though you use Advantage for her. You may have to grab her with big gloves out, get her in a crate & take her to the vet to have her sedated for the vet to do a dip or apply the topical meds. Then give your Aunt the bill if you want. That will be cheaper than fumigating your home and exposing your cat and family to pesticides. Once they're in your rugs, it's not easy to get them out.

Good luck!!

Put on some oven mitts, wrap your hands in towels, whatever you can do to protect yourself, then hold that cat down (gently) and put some advantage on it! If not that, then she needs to go to a vet so you can have a professional take care of it.

If the cat won't let you help it, then don't help it. That's what it gets for being a nasty cat.

Edit:
Seriously, why would people want an animal like this as a pet? I just don't get cat people.
