Endorphines are compounds in our own body which are released in times of stress or excitement (fight or flight).

Supposedly, when we eat chocolate, endorphines are released. So go ahead and reach for some chocolate! :-)

A low calorie approach is through rigorous physical activity - running, swimming, soccer, weight lifting. Also, some people get really into video games where they experience an endorphin rush - fight or flight response.

Dark chocolate, hot coca, and i guess coffee according to Kelly Ripa. But exercise is healthier and makes you feel better then eating candy or junk food.
