Yellow Lab- I had a Golden Retriever... and there is Golden Retrievers and Labradors Retrievers (golden/yellow, chocolate/brown and black) those are are 2 separate breeds that is a yellow or golden (which ever you want to call it) Labrador. Also white in the face or in other spots is normal all dogs have different coluoration it doesn't mean its a mix... it looks pure Lab to me.

In the UK we would call it a Golden Labrador. It looks quite old and just a tad on the over weight side too. Beautiful dog though.
