At least once or twice a month I have this dream where I can "levitate" objects just by looking at them. Sort of like the book and movie "Matilda." It's a pretty fun dream and of course I'm sad the next day when these "super powers" don't apply to my real life! What ever could this dream mean? I've been having it for about 14 years now!

You are the best interpreter of your own dreams. Dream dictionaries can only give you general symbolizm so you need to think about what the dream symbols mean to you specifically.

With recurring dreams, the message may be so important and/or powerful that it just will not go away. The frequent repetition of such dreams forces you to pay attention and confront the dream. The dream is trying desperately to tell you something

To dream that you have super powers in general indicates your above-average talents, ideas, and abilities you may not realized you possessed. To dream that you are levitating something, signifies that you are holding on to far-fetched ideas and need to grasp on to more realistic notions.

Reoccuring pleasant dreams are a blessing and often occur from something that happened when you were very young. Be thankful its not a night mare, I had one of those the other day drempt I went back to work where the environment was very destructive to good health. Anyway I doubt that anyone can give you an exact reason although there may be many who try. Sorry that you don't have the power but I am not sure you would want it once you had it.

How cool....there's not enough of a story line here to interpret, only a symbol....the question I would ask you is how do you approach problem solving in your day to day life, do you figuratively apply "mind over matter" to come to resolution of problems? ie: making up your mind that there is a solution, and going at it until you over come it? I just kind of get a feeling from this description that maybe the times you are having these dreams signal resolution of a problem, removal of an obstacle from your waking life, or could signal that the conclusion you seek is close at hand.... It sounds like some kind of inner signal to yourself, maybe even a dreamish "atta boy", it doesn't sound like it has to do with a problem presenting itself for resolution or any thing....

levitation dreams mean that you are learning or need to learn to rise above the everyday situations and problems that occur in your life. You can rise the difficulties others will try to put in your way. Just have faith in your own abilities.

It means that you have a gift that is very special, but you haven't found it yet, nor do you realize your full potential with this gift. You need to quit focusing too much on what you want, but to free your mind and soul and allow your gift to work.
