I am almost 5'10 and most boys I like, and would consider, are about 2 inches shorter than me. Does it really matter to you, and does it make it awkward and strange at all?

hmm. Im getting the sense that height really does matter, the less of it you have, the better off you are(as a girl)?

This IS a big deal to most guys. (not me as I'm 6'1'' and there are not many girls taller then me...). Guys like to be in power/control..and it's hard to get that feeling when your looking up at someone. It makes most guys feel awkward and strange.
You do look good, even without the make-up...but your height will still turn away the short, insecure guys.

I'm 6'00" and I recently almost asked out a girl who is like 6'2" so shes 2 inches taller than me.
Dont worry about it. All that matters is your heart, your personality and your guy will like that enough. Good luck

my older sister is also about your height im catching up to her shes three years older than me but honestly i like girls that are shorter or the same hight as me. she did find a great guy though hes six five and really nice so dont worry someone will come along

taller girls are cute...doesn't really matter to me that much (especially since I'm about 6' and there aren't many girls taller then me)
