Dear God:
I know that I'm a sinner. I deserve Hell. But You sent Jesus to die for my sins. I believe that He died and rose again. I ask you now to forgive my sins, once an for all. I now receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Saviour. Please come into my heart and save me, Help me to know I am saved and live for You, the rest of my life. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Oh it's you again. Same reason I told you that last fifty times you posted this same stupid "question"

It's false. Jesus was a spiritual teacher, therefore not a Lord or a Savior.

No god, no Jesus. I simply cannot believe, and no amount of trying is going to make me believe. That's what keeps me from accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

P.S. Tried your prayer, it didn't work.

P.P.S. I've lived a pretty good life, my conscience is clear, and I've done some things to help my fellow man and reduce the suffering of this world. If I wind up being punished in some afterlife simply because I cannot believe, that's a cruel and pointless way to run a Universe. Are you sure you've got it right?

Can someone please show me that scripture, the one that says: "just accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior"? I can't find it.

But I DID find this: "If we have died with him [in baptism; see Rom. 6:3-4] we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him" (2 Tim. 2:11-12). So, if we do NOT persevere, we shall NOT reign with him. In other words, Christians can forfeit heaven. Jesus tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). Ergo, if you do not endure to the end, well........

It seems that the Bible makes it clear that Christians have a moral assurance of salvation (God will be true to his word and will grant salvation to those who have faith in Christ and are obedient to him [1 John 3:19-24]), but the Bible does NOT teach that Christians have a guarantee of heaven. There can be no absolute assurance of salvation. The Bible says, "See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you remain in his kindness, otherwise you too will be cut off" (Rom. 11:22-23; Matt. 18:21-35, 1 Cor. 15:1-2, 2 Pet. 2:20-21).

Note that this includes an important condition: "provided you remain in his kindness." It is saying that Christians can lose their salvation by throwing it away. He warns, "Whoever thinks he is standing secure should take care not to fall" (1 Cor. 10:11-12). , Paul admitted that even he could fall away: "I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified" (1 Cor. 9:27). In saying this he points out that even he cannot be infallibly sure of his own present state or of his future salvation.

I haven't. You know, because there's no evidence of his actual existence and all.

One reason is because of obnoxious pseudo-dogooders like yourself. Another reason is you're asking people to worship a concept. Another reason is that I believe that everything you just said is a lie. Last but not least, You're asking me to believe because of the threat of hell. That's religious blackmail.

You are a complete fraud.

it sounds ridiculous!
let´s analyze that jimbo jambo:
"i know i am a sinner,i deserve hell".. but since someone else died for me, my sins dont count and i am saved... (pretty convenient)..."christ as personal saviour" (as your gym personal trainer??)..."help me to know i am saved" (but didnt jesus died to save you??? so if you doubt you are saved it is because your faith falters...and without faith you are doomed to hell...
Nuts, why dont you think things over a little bit before connecting words that may seem pretty to your ears but dont have any sense at all

No, because we only have his word for it that only he can save us. Because his word wasn't all that reliable if he said he would return within the lifetimes of his disciples. Because he probably wasn't real and was just another Sun god.
