It's for homework, because it's part of LITERATURE! It was the first book ever published.

Genesis-The Creation and The Fall, The story of the flood,.
The Book of Ruth and David & Goliath.
Genesis - God made everything on the Earth and gave man dominion of it.
The Creation and the Fall - God told man not to do certain things and he didn't listen so man lost his powers
The Book of ruth - God told ruth what to do and she did it completely
David and Goliath - David never had any doubt if God said he could win over the giant, and he did

I was surprised at some of the answers claiming that the bible was not the first book published.
Although "The Epic of Gilgamesh" is the oldest written story *of which we are aware*, it was by no means the 1st book. Your claim is correct, the Bible (the Latin Vulgate, to be precise) was, indeed, the first book, and also the 1st "published" (produced in quantity for sale). The bible was also the first book printed.
It is also most certainly literature. In fact, the bible is *the* most referenced work in Western literature. It amazes me that schools teach "classic mythology" (because of its literary value), but not the bible for identical reasons.
Oh - you should do your homework yourself. Sorry, but that's the Christian thing to do.

Why do you have this as homework? No regular school is allowed to teach this.
edit.
It is NOT literature and would NEVER be taught as such in a regular school, and it most certainly was not the first book published!
I have to assume you are at some faith based 'school' as this is the sort of thing they believe.

(2,3). there replaced into no longer something majestic interior the actual visual charm of this servant. Israel might miscalculate the servants magnitude--- they might evaluate him an consumer-friendly guy. yet even although Jesus does not entice a huge following per his actual visual charm, he delivered salvation and therapeutic. a lot of human beings miscalculate the magnitude of Jesus' existence and artwork. they like dedicated Christians to show out his fantastic nature. (4,5). How would desire to an old testomony man or woman comprehend the belief of Christ dying for our sins---easily bearing the punishment that we deserved? The sacrifices pronounced this concept, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's one ingredient to kill a lamb, and a few thing particularly distinctive to think of of God's chosen servant as a Lamb. yet God replaced into pulling aside the curtain of time to enable the folk of Israel's day anticipate the suffering of the destiny Messiah and the resultant forgiveness made available to all mankind. (6). Isaiah speaks of Israel straying from God and likens them to wandering sheep. yet God might deliver the Messiah to convey them back into the fold. we've the hindsight to be certain and understand the id of the promised Messiah, who has come and died for our sins. yet as quickly as all of us understand all that Jesus did and nevertheless reject him, our sin is a lot greater effective than that of the classic Israelites, who would desire to no longer see what we've seen.

Creation-the perfect state of all things prior toThe Fall- man's abiding sin that followed us till the Flood-where God got so sick of us that He wiped away all creation and 'started fresh'.
Ruth is a very uplifting story of a woman who is faithful to her mother-in-law, the obedience for which God provided her another husband named Boaz. David & Goliath is often used to represent facing our challenges as Christians with boldness as he faced off to Goliath and was victorious because he knew he had God on his side.

Well that's a lot of topics and a very general question, I suggest you post a more specific question. I recommend that you get yourself a bible in an easy to read translation; the NIV and The New Living Bible are very understandable.
