u mean w/out heating it/ out of the can yea ive done that alot b4( w/ clam chowder)

I don't think one is better than the other. Personally, I'd rather have the condensed soup. I really like chicken noodle soup when I have a cold. It's got the be the Campbell's kind I had as a kid. I also like a nice cup of hot tea at night when I'm sick. It makes my throat feel better and if it's de-caf, it helps me sleep.

The soup is cooked in the can, but it may be too salty since it's concentrated.

I'm thinking you're referring to the Campbell's soup in the red and white can... I believe it's also labeled as "condensed" meaning you need to add water to make a proper bowl of soup.

You can eat it cold, but heating it releases more of the flavor.

I eat their Vegetable Beef out of the can do I dont see why you cant.
