Respiratory therapy is 2 year associate program the income is around $40,000/year but you can make more with overtime. X-ray/ultrasound/dental hygiene are also 2 year programs. Dental hygienists make the most around $30/hour. You can also get your RN at a community college and make really great money. I know nurses who make over $100,000/year because they work in major cities in critical care units. Nurses, respiratory therapists, and x-ray techs do some lifting. Nurses more so.

An option you might consider is Clinical Laboratory Science, also known as Medical Technology. These are the "behind the scenes" people that do the testing on blood after it has been drawn. They usually work in hospital or private labs, or for the many companies that make laboratory reagents and equipment. There are four year bachelor degree options as well as two year associates degree programs. Clinical Lab Technicians (two year degree) have an average starting salary of 26-30,000, and Technologists (four year degree) 38-43,000. You can check out ascls.org for more information.

i locate it a travesty that wellbeing care professional's are like this, yet i assume in case you look at it via their eyes, they're overworked as is plus they have many a lot of human beings owing them money which in turn makes them anticipate money before amenities rendered. wager whilst it boils right down to it, i do no longer blame the wellbeing care professional's one bit.
