they don't take whole blood transfusions but will take "fractions." Who in their organization decides what fractions are ok and what parts are not?

not all Witnesses are in agreement with the JW blood policy and many are working anonymously from the inside for change, as seen at http://www.ajwrb.org/

so again, who has decided some "parts" are ok? the general rule seems to be it's not ok, otherwise your literature wouldn't be praising and glamorizing the children who've died for the blood doctrine:

The cover of the May 22, 1994 Awake! magazine showing photos of 26 children, with the caption: "Youths Who Put God First." Inside the magazine glorifies Witness children who died supporting WTS policy. - www.ajwrb.org

Blood is blood whether it be whole blood, plasma, platelets, imunoglobulin, haemoglobin. Is it O.K. to sin a little because it is only a 1% sin or a 2% sin? If it were any other Watchtower octrine they would say no. But, probably due to controversy, they now decide that 'it is up to the individuals conscience'. A cop out and absolute hypocrisy.

As was always the case, and is the case, with ANY decision it is up to each person.

Applying old principles to new technology isn't always easy. So we are given information on Blood, and encouraged to do our own research, then decide on our own for our own good.
