The one that comes up to wait on me especially if they are professional, knowledgeable and not annoying. I have asked friends to recommend salespeople that have treated them well and then asked for them in the store.

If it is a retail establishment, most of the time the salesman will approach you. If you are talking about buying a house, I usually get referrals of agents that friends have used in the past.
