I have a lot of albums of music. Most of them are in MP3 format, but there are some that are in OGG. It would be very difficult to go through and find the ogg files and then convert them. Is there a program that can find all of the ogg files and convert that existing file to MP3, (replace it, or otherwise I would still have to go and delete the ogg file.) I am trying to avoid looking for the ogg files. Hopefully there is a program that can do it all for me.
Thanks

i dont think there is such a thing. but you can sort your files by their extention type, thus having mp3 to one side and ogg to the other. this way you can move mp3 somewhere else.
to convert audio files i use Sound Forge.
good luck

(I'm assuming you have a Windows computer.)

Open "My computer". Select the drive where your OGG files are stored, click the right mouse button, and select "Search...". In the window that comes up, type

*.ogg

in the field that says "All or part of the file name:". Click the "Search" button.

It might take a while, but all the files with the .OGG extension that are stored on that drive will appear in the search results. You can then select them all, delete them, copy them to single folder, drag them into a converter program, whatever.
