I am only 23 years old, I work out regularly, 5 days a week including cardio, weights, and yoga.

I have been having hip pain for about a year, I am not able to do some yoga positions because my hip joints feel like they are going to pop out. During sex (this is pretty embarrassing), I'm not able to be on top for long because it bothers my hips so much. I can't ride my bike (which is something I love to do) without my hips hurting for the next two days.

I started taking Glucosamine about a week ago because I read it helps your joints, but my hip joints still really bother me. I'm way too young to be having hip related problems, please help!

OMG! I have the same problem with my hips! They hurt during sex when I'm on top. I feel like my hip bone gets stuck and I have to straighten my legs or switch position because of the pain. My hips also make a popping noise. I'm only 22 years old. My doctor told me to drink more water and milk. I was about to post this same question when I came across yours. I feel better to know that I am not the only one that is experiencing this embarassing problem. On my last birthday card asked if it was time to get a new hip replacement; reffering that I was getting old. I got worried because it was kind of true. I understand your pain and you're not alone! I wonder if there are others who go through this. Could it be our birh control? I've been on it for years...that's the only thing I can think of....

Same matters occurred to me. The general practitioner used to be out of the town so we simply noticed the nurse, she proposal it would appendix (like leaky intestine syndrome or appendicitis with out it rupturing but), we went to the ER nevertheless it used to be only a UTI. Though they appear no longer extreme in any respect, I had SERIOUS PAINFUL stabbing pains and again aches for over a month. They needed to positioned me on excessive antibiotics. I stayed on the ER for the relaxation of that night time they usually positioned my antibiotic into the drip IV. Definitely get it looked at. UTI's can emerge as critical, or it would be leaky intestine and you do not desire to attend till it erupts! EDIT By the best way, everybody is recommending tramadol and a hyperlink, so it need to be rip-off. Well, that is what the general practitioner positioned me on for affliction. It works however will positioned you a four hour coma--Be ready to sleep all day if you are taking it!

This is not a good sign. It could be arthritis or rheumatism which can strike younger people. It can also be some other serious illnesses. Take motrin (800 mgs/day) and glucosamine. Make an appt with your doctor to find out what is really going on.

You are not to young for hip problems so go see your doc and get a referal to an orthopedic doc. Glucosamine IF it works for you will take at least 4 weeks or more to notice a difference but as severe as you describe your problems it may not help much. You seem to have very severe problems so please get this checked out ASAP.
