I just got diagnosed with Grave's disease, and I am very frightened. I have been on line and see that I will develop large popped out eyes. Is this true? My eyes are fine now, but I fear I will wake up one morning and look very different. For those of you who have this illness or know about it please shed some light...thank you in advance

That used to happen before doctors knew how to treat Grave's disease properly. Barbara Bush has had it for years- and I think George Bush (her husband) was also diagnosed with it. There are medications today that should prevent most of the effects of the disease from developing. Ask your doctor these questions, and I think you will feel much better when you hear his/her answer. Good luck.
