In most countries they put you to sleep, but if they don't it feels like this: You know when docters stick a wooden popsicle stick or something in your mouth, well the most painful part feels like that, it's not mostly pain, it's just uncomfortable. Afterwards the next week is terrible. Your throat will hurt and you will have to take medicines, I had to take that and some steroids, but not everyone needs the steroids.... And they tell you to eat Ice Cream :-)

No, not really. Normally, you're asleep when you get your tonsils removed, and the only time your throat might be sore is after you get your tonsils removed. It might be a little scratchy, but all you get to eat is pretty much ice cream, jello, popsicles, and stuff like that. ^.^

No, because you are not awake when you get your tonsils removed.However, I would imagine that it hurts pretty badly afterwards.

no it doesnt hurt but they might be a littel sore afterward so be sure to get a gallon of ice creamk just in case:)

Depends on your age. The older you are the longer it takes to recover.
