Its only bbullet proof if you wear it sideways or backwards

What you mean is bullet resistant. There are 4 grades of resistant armor. The problem with a normal looking hat, is it doesn't really cover the head. Most hats just ride on top of the head which would only protect the wearer from very limited angles. I would have to say no.

I wish, but if I knew that a guy was wearing a bullet proof hat, I would purposefully shoot him in the head which would still hurt like a bit** just to prove that he's an a hole. Of course if he tried to shoot me back, it wouldn't work cause I'd be wearing one too.

I don't think so, but I did read an article a couple years ago about a "smart" material being tested for safety helmets that was soft like a knit cap, but stiffened by absorbing impacts across it's surface. Never heard anything else about it though, so either it didn't work, or it did and the military bought it first...

EVEN IF YOU CAME UP WITH A BULLET PROOF HAT.I DON T THINK YOUR NECK COULD TAKE A HIT OF SEVERAL THOUSAND FT/LBS OF TORQUE THAT WOULD BE EXERTED ON YOU.
