i swear by this... shower, then when you get out and your feet are a little moist use a pumice to scrub the rough areas. then lather and message them with OLIVE OIL (lotion and the other's don't work nearly as well, i've tried them) put socks on overnight. my mom had THE most horrible feet and i did this for her and she had nice soft feet after at least 7 days of doing this nightly. then just do it every couple days for upkeep. my feet are gorgeous. make sure you do this especially in the spring and summer when you show your feet. try to keep socks on more when you are walking around at home, it keeps your feet more protected and the skin stays softer than if you are barefoot a lot when you don't absolutely need to be.

I love the salt scrubs and sugar scrubs. You knock out two birds with one stone-1.)Exfoliate 2.) Moisturize. Also, instead of wearing cotton socks (the cotton actually absorbs the product on your skin, so your skin can't abosorb very much of it), use those gel socks (you can find them at Bed Bath & Beyond and Bath & Body Works) or, for the best, cheapest, most sanitary way to keep your feet moisturized at night and soft throughout the day (this is going to sound silly, but it REALLY works) is to apply your favorite lotion, and wrap your feet in seran wrap. To keep it fastened on and not come unraveled overnight, wear socks over it. Then, in the morning, remove socks and seran wrap, rub in excess lotion, and rinse of the rest. It really works...
