Since you do not really want the stuff-then return it! Make sure you return enough to get the amount credited to equal the amount you went over 70. Then ask your Dad how much his over the limit charge was. Then find some way to make some money (Mow lawns.wash/wax cars) then when you get the amount you cost him saved put it in a card that says you are sorry and give it to him. It won't change what you did but it will make up for it somewhat. If you want to be really good pay him back the overcharge fee AND the 70$! (Plus return the items that put you over in the first place).

Remember trust is easy to lose and difficult to get back!

You get over it, by stepping up and taking responsibility for your actions. Pay your dad the $40 as soon as possible, and the $70 afterwards. A credit card is a loan, and you caused him to get more of a loan than what he intended. It's your responsibility to deal with it.

If you don't have a job, then it's time to work your debt off. Mow the lawn for 5-6 weeks without being asked, and do the very best you can. Clean up around the house. Rake leaves. Wash and wax his car. Help take care of any siblings you have. Learn to use punctuation, and to spell, too.

You would feel a lot less guilty if you took genuine responsibility for your expenditure, & paid your father back as soon as you can.

You would also make him proud. :-))
