If they have time to be on here, reading and answering questions, why aren't they out in the community helping the elderly lady clean her house, or the newly married couple painting their nursery?
I don't think they're truely men of God if they have enough time to spend on here....agree?

Pangel...when they devote their lives to being men of God, they need to go out and help people in the community...not evangelize on the computer!

onelmo...you know who you look like? Paula Deen's husband Michael...wow...well, if that IS you anyway lol...
Maybe they DO do both...but there are many people who spend hours and hours on here...and that's not appropriate to me...sure if they're on here for a few minutes a day after they've been out picking up litter, writing their sermon, working(if they have a secular job) or whatever else.

eartha...that has NOTHING to do with this...that girl was not a man of God, she was a hooker....Judas didn't want the money for himself, he didn't think it was appropriate for Jesus to allow her to do that...
That is why he was mad...

Fireball, there are some who stay on here for very long time periods...I have no problem with the guys who answer a few questions a day...but those who answer like 100 questions a day...they have OTHER things that need to be done.

I remember when Judas got angry like this. A woman had spent much moneyon perfumes to anoint the feet of Jesus...Judas thought she should have given that money to "the poor"..but really..he wanted the money himself (he was the treasurer, who held the money purse for the Lord).
It would be wise..to inspect your motive for asking this question.

Given all the nonsense that people write in R&S, I'm glad some people here share their knowledge earned through hard work. But they also should be working with the community, no matter what. So many questions are made here that all you need is 5-10 minutes to read and respond; that amount of time doesn't take away from someone's ability to help those around them.

Why are you here? The same reason as any one else is. To ask and seek out answers. These priest, pastors, and preachers don't work 24/7 do You? No so give them some compassion for their time off to enjoy their life the way they see fit. God have mercy on you. I do not agree, no.

Isn't it kind of hypocritical of you to say so? Seeing as it says, "Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn‘t do it, sins." Jas 4:17
So what are you doing on this forum, seeing as you feel you're neglecting doing the right thing?
And by the way "I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken." Mt 12:36

Pastors, Preachers & Priests are not the only one's that are supposed to be helping others in that way. If you are a Christian, then you are responsible for your own ministry. That's right~ How you serve God is your ministry. How 'bout you, what are YOU doing? I will give you a minute to get that piece of wood out of your eye!

There are scams, yet they're consumer-friendly to p.c.. out. The WORST preachers are people who act like they already study the Bible, then they sit down among themselves and bypass sophistry, then bypass it directly to their congregations. we are transforming into to be countless "large" issues from that stupid *** hollow mentality, which graces the pulpits of church homes all around the globe. issues like "The Bible replaced into canonized on the 1st Council of Nicaea in 325 advert." ASININE! and "Jesus Christ will marry the church." stupid, lackadaisical, derelict jackasses. EDIT: additionally, an identical variety will inform you that Gays won't be able to get to heaven in the event that they're actively gay. stupid, rebellious trash! They replaced the Gospel, and that they do no longer supply a ****. EDIT returned: that is consumer-friendly to be certain in case you study the Bible. for the period of the years guy has basically delivered injury till they listened to God for a metamorphosis. that's why whilst God despatched prophets, they hated the prophets. that is an identical ingredient right this moment. They constantly make excuses for themselves making their movements greater perfect than all and sundry else's interior the previous.

I think if you understood the scope of evangelism, ministering, sharing the gospel or what sacrifice it takes to pastor a congregation..you'd retract that statement.
On the most basic level, God calls believers to plant seeds. If you are tied to a desk for any period of time...and you find the time to spread the Gospel (spread a seed) while you do it...thats a good thing.

why are YOU on here? i don't recall anyplace where taking care of people was designated the exclusive responsibility of the clergy...Christ said, 'if you love Me, take care of My sheep'...He didn't single out anyone-or is this such a lazy, couch potato culture that we expect someone else to take care of our obligations toward our community? do you see a need unmet? get up, go out, and meet it!

Perhaps they think this is a more effective use of their time, and I'm not inclined to disagree.
Even men of God need time off, and this is as good a place as any. They're ministers, not saints.
