I tried to run on back to back days instead of every other day, and I exeperienced pain in my calf. Should I ignore it and keep running, or should I slow down?

It depends on the type of pain it is and how much it hurts, nut it sounds like you should just keep going but keep a close eye on it.

Ease off. Go back to alternate days until you get well. YOu need more stretching and warming up, and a good stretch and warm-down routine. Sounds like you're calf is knotting up which restricts blood flow and could become more serious.

If you don't get completely well in a week, I'd see a sports medicine doctor.
