on the two mile d-shaped race track in Fontana California, NASCAR style stock cars have a qualifying speed of about 185 m.p.h.
Indy cars qualify at over 230 m.p.h.
I don't know how close f-1 cars are to Indy cars, but that might give you some idea.

About 40-50 MPH on the bigger oval tracks. The Micheal Schumacher of Nascar is Jeff Gordon Or Tony Stewart currently. It used to be Richard Petty-now retired. But Dale Earnhardt Sr. is dead contrary to some answers so he cant be compared to a living person.

This is a really hard comparison..like the guy said above me Elliot ran 212 at dega back in the day..my father actually spoke with the president of Talledega Superspeedway and he said that the cars of tomorrow which are supposed to be slower were actually running close to 210 mph without the draft its just really hard to compare...this sounds like a ? for MythBusters!!! The Michael Schumacher of NASCAR is Dale Earnhardt Sr(the Intimidator). or Richard Petty(the King)

well the speed of a NASCAR car varies depending the race track where it runs. For instance, on the Talladega Superspeedway the top speed is 212 miles per hour, set by Bill Elliot in 1988. At the Infenion raceway, the top speed is recorded as 99 miles per hour. also to your anwser of whis the Michael Schumacher of NASCAR is Dale earnhardt.

Speed varies from track to track..Its hard to compare Nascar to F1 since the F1 cars are much lighter and total different design, and they are always on road courses....The Schumacher of Nascar would have to be Dale Earnhardt Sr.

One of the reasons why is because the Formula One cars are lighter than the Nascar cars. And the Formula One cars are sleek and smooth and the Nascar cars are more rugged

Nascars are considerably slower than F1 you have to realize that F1 race on road courses a Nascar could not keep up with the slowest F1.
