Nothing needs to be done.

Both of those organs have very effective shedding mechanisms - the lungs have phagocytes that handle the smallest particulates, and there are cillia to sweep out the larger ones that are trapped in the mucus coating of the bronchia.

The intestines have natures "non-stick" coating - the top layer of cells sheds on a regular basis - nothing can stick! And therefore nothing needs to be "detoxed" or cleaned out.

HyperDog, you know what. I have my kitty for 10 years and few days ago I had a though that I do not want to inhale the dust from the cat litter while I am scooping the waste from the litter box. Then I thought again, if I don t want the dust get in my lungs, why would my precious kitty? I was sooooo dumb and soooo regret that I have been using cheap clumping cat litter for freaking 10 years. Just a few days ago I started to let my kitty to use 100% natural cat litter gradually. I have the exact thought as yours. The store sells it. It got to be safe!! I was kinda mad why I am being so dumb and who the heck invented something like products like that and being sold on the stores. All I do now is just pray for my cat everything is allright.

Call around and see if you can find a holistic vet.

Milk thistle is safe for cats, a cat dose is 50mg, it'll help the liver do its job.

You may not need to do anything at all though. Once the old litter is out of the environment, the lungs will clear out on their own.
