The best they have right now with an accurate guidance system is the CSS-5. It's an intermediate range missile with a range of about 2,500 kilometers. Although they have launched rockets into space with satellites on board, it isn't the same as launching one to deliver an atomic warhead on target. But, the CSS-5 can reach U.S. military facilities in Japan and South Korea.

Yes they do considering they have launched two men into space, and of course space satellites, and shooting down one of their own satellites a few years ago.
But why would China risk shooting a nuke at us? That makes no sense whatsoever.
MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) has worked very well for over 50 years, there is no reason why it should work for the next million years. The problem is, is there are too many nukes and that needs to be seriously scaled back. One day their will be an accident and that could trigger an all out nuclear attack.
Also, China has stated publicly they will not preemptively attack a sovereign nation and that they also that they believe in a countries right to self determination. They believe in diplomatic solutions, rather then angry accusing words, conflict and war. Which America seems to be good at these days.
Peace

If they can but a satellite into space they can hit any target in the world. Since they can launch satellites and have had manned spaceflights, the answer is yes. The just have to fit a warhead onto a missile.

They most likely do considering they either stole such secrets from the US (there has been cases of espionage with Chinese agents in the US.) or bought them off the Russian black market from an ill-financed ex-soviet unit.
Anyone who says no is clueless. Even if the previous scenarios are not true, China has a high tech market and possibly can afford to hire some scientists to develop their own or get a satellite nation of their's (aka N. Korea) to do the development and dirty work for them.
However China would most likely not use them unless they HAVE to. Some speculation (no idea if it is true.) is they are bulking up their military forces out of fear that in the future competition between major world powers (US and other western powers) for natural resources will break out in war. Would not be surprised if they are taking steps to counter such a scenario.
As for them not using it against the US, it is not the idea of MAD, but more likely economics. A majority of goods in the US are made and bought from China, so killing the US is like quitting a well paying job. They are not going to do it. Not to mention China already bought up a huge part of the USA's national debt, so technically they have bought the US and own it in some way or another. Why destroy your own property?

Maybe. It's said that China does have that capability. The trouble is do those missles work. During the best of times, only 2/3 of the Soviet missles would have worked and the Chinese are hacks compared to the Soviets. Their dozen or so missles could blow up on the launch pad, just after lift off or when it enters or exits outer space. I wouldn't be surprised if one of their bombs doesn't just blow up sitting there.

What makes something referred to as something. somebody got here up with a popularity for human beings and now we at the same time call ourselves human beings (as far as English is in contact). How are we distinctive from different issues? we glance distinctive, we've distinctive genes, we've distinctive applications, and a few might say we won the breath of existence from God. What makes us human interior the jap way of thinking? A human that conforms to the societal norms. Even the bible says you're a beast in case you provide your self as much as sin.

It would not surprise me in the least to learn that China could launch a nuclear strike against the US. What keeps them from ever doing such a thing is MAD, mutually assured destruction.

Yes.
China has a space program. That means they have plenty of capability to create an ICBM that can reach any part of the U.S.
I'm not sure if they have nuclear warheads and what quality they are though.
They would not dare for fear of the old Cold War addage: Mutually assured destruction.

Yes they can, right to your backyard. You can thank President Clinton and Loral Aerospace for that, they provided Red China with the technology to do it.

They put a man in space and are expected to surpass the USA in the space race within 10 years unless we start giving NASA more money, so I would say they can certainly hit any US city they target
